The Dalmuir Waste Water Treatment Works is an essential part of Scottish Water’s infrastructure to provide sanitation and manage the large volume of waste water for the Glasgow region.
As the operators of the plant, we are committed to do our best to minimise or avoid any disturbance to service during the outbreak of COVID 19, while also ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff.
Our Continuity Plan has established a rota system for all operational and maintenance staff, as well as introduced safety measures such a separate canteen facilities, single occupancy in pool cars and other measures to ensure our staff work with enough distance between them. We have also ensured they all have the necessary protective equipment. All this is in place to ensure the operation continues and all staff stay healthy and well.
