Here in Scotland, we operate the Wastewater Treatment Works in Dalmuir on behalf of Scottish Water. This facility serves more than 600,000 people over an area of around 200,000 square miles. It is a sophisticated treatment facility that ensures that residents and businesses receive a reliable clean water supply and that waste water is treated safely in accordance with regulations and legislation.

Electrical Technician – Glasgow – Full-time - £24,000 - £27,000 per annum

The primary duties of the position include skilled execution of planned & corrective electrical maintenance activities, ensuring reliable condition and robust performance of numerous and varied items of plant and equipment across the SAUR Services West of Glasgow site. Fault finding and root cause failure identification, a proactive approach to defect correction and reporting with a sound ability for swift breakdown resolution in emergency process situations. Co-ordination with existing maintenance, operations and process departments as well as adopting safe working techniques and good overall engineering practice.

Centrifuge and Plant Operator – Glasgow – Full-time - £19,000 - £21,0000 per annum

The primary duties of the position include skilled operation of a centrifuge plant and waste water treatment works. Control of the plant, adjustment of running parameters, fault check, a proactive approach to achieve compliance with CAR licence and Waste Management Licence.

Co-ordination with existing process department, maintenance team as well as adopting safe working techniques and good overall operation practice are key.

Finance Manager – Glasgow – Full-time - £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

You will provide finance visibility and reliability to Saur service Glasgow, subsidiary of SAUR, who oversees the operation of the wastewater treatment plant of Dalmuir. Reporting to the General Manager, you will bring your skills to the financial monitoring of the project (Circa £10m of Annual turnover). This will be achieved in collaboration with the Operations, Maintenance, and process managers. Swift coordination with Saur Glasgow’s accountant will be key.
