Ms McNair has been our constituency MSP since 2021 and this was her second visit to the Dalmuir facility. She had a full tour of the site, including an overview of our recent improvement works to the fine screens. She also attended a presentation given by Site Director Angele Tejeiro and Deputy Director Dylan Green who explained the intricacies of the work we do here, from the capacity of water treated to the number of local households supported.
Angele commented “It was great to meet Ms McNair and to have the opportunity to explain the complexities of our work here. We run this plant on behalf of Scottish Water and it was good to show her the operation in full, the interdependencies on other parts of the network and the impacts on the city. We enjoyed showing her around and look forward to welcoming her here again soon.”
